1. Who processes your data

Your personal data is processed by the Momenta project team, acting as data controller. For any question about your data, you can contact us at hello@momentagallery.eu.

This policy explains what data we collect through this website, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It applies to all visitors of this website, wherever you are located. As a baseline, we apply the standards of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) — one of the strictest data protection frameworks in the world — to everyone, regardless of your country of residence.

2. What data we collect

Through the availability check form, we collect the data you provide to us:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • the date of your event
  • any other information you choose to share with us in your message

You do not create an account on this website, no payments are processed and we do not collect card data.

With your consent, we automatically collect data about how the website is used (pages visited, duration of the visit, device and browser type, traffic source) through cookies, using the Google Analytics service — see section 6 for details. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the website may be used without consent.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • To respond to your availability request and for the related follow-up communication — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep you updated about the Service (for example, future availability or news relevant to your event) — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting your request and which you can withdraw at any time, by a simple email or via the unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the website is used and to improve it (traffic analysis through Google Analytics) — legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time from the website's cookie settings.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep your data until your request has been handled and, afterwards, for no longer than 12 months, so that we can contact you about the Service — or until you withdraw your consent, if that happens earlier. When this period expires, your data is deleted.

5. Who we share your data with

Your data is accessible only to us and to the technical providers that make the website and our communication possible (the web hosting provider and the email service provider), strictly within this purpose. Within the limits of your cookie consent, website usage data is also processed by Google, as the provider of the Google Analytics service. We do not share your data with any other recipients, except where the law requires us to.

6. Cookies and Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, which helps us understand how the website is used (for example, how many visitors we have, which pages are visited and where the traffic comes from). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect this information in aggregated form; we do not use it to identify you personally.

Analytics cookies are activated only after you give your consent through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. You can refuse or change your choice at any time, from the website's cookie settings or your browser settings, without affecting your use of the website.

Data processed through Google Analytics may be transferred by Google outside the European Economic Area (including to the United States); such transfers are carried out on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the adequacy decision regarding the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The lifetime of analytics cookies is the one set by Google Analytics, generally up to 13 months.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, the right to rectification or erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@momentagallery.eu. We will reply within 30 days at the latest.

If you consider that your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country of residence.

8. If you are located outside the European Economic Area

We extend the rights described in section 7 to all users, wherever you are located. Your data is stored and processed in the European Union, under the GDPR standards described in this policy.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for behavioural advertising purposes. Any commercial emails we send are based on your express consent and include an unsubscribe option. If the law of your country grants you rights beyond those described in this policy, contact us at hello@momentagallery.eu and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

9. Minors

The website and the availability form are intended for persons aged 18 or over.

10. Data security

We apply reasonable data protection measures: secure transmission of the form (HTTPS), restricted access to the data received and deletion of the data when the retention period expires.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the version in force is the one published on the website, together with the date of the last update.
